About The Position

The person in this position administratively assists the Field HR managers and the Corporate Benefits Team.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with regulations pertaining to regulatory policies such as FMLA, FELA, and COBRA
  • One to two years of experience in the field of human resources
  • Proficiency in HRIS system and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and verification in the HRIS system, updating various items such as address changes, data input for new hires, terminations, training, benefit changes, deductions, etc.
  • Assemble reports, compile data, and summarize records/reports manually or using basic computer programs; be responsible for maintenance of the HRIS and payroll systems
  • Provide clerical support related to employee benefit communications
  • Assist employees with benefit questions, completing forms, and other similar situations as they arise
  • Respond within twenty-four hours to routine questions from the field
  • Assist if needed in processing requests to assist in the administration of required regulatory policies such as FMLA, FELA, COBRA, and company-administered policies such as relocation
  • Assist with other projects and perform other duties as assigned
