About The Position

Spring Creek Healthcare Center is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support its team and foster a positive, well-organized workplace within its skilled nursing facility. This role is crucial for ensuring that the team can effectively deliver patient care, helping residents regain independence and transition safely. The center values accountability, clear communication, and follow-through, focusing on both residents and staff. This is a hands-on, onsite position dedicated to supporting daily HR operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in HR or a customer-facing role
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Clear communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding, including required documentation (E-Verify, DACS)
• Ensure new employees attend orientation and are set up for success
• Assist employees with workplace injuries and workers' compensation reporting
• Track and coordinate required trainings (annual and semiannual)
• Support documentation and follow-up related to employee relations and disciplinary actions
• Maintain accurate employee records
• Review and correct timecards, missed punches, and PTO submissions
• Approve timekeeping for payroll processing
• Provide benefit information to eligible employees
• Assist with enrollment through iSolved
• Answer general benefit questions and coordinate submissions with corporate
• Manage termination processes and ensure proper documentation
