HORIBA Instruments Incorporated is seeking a human resource coordinator to support our U.S. Semiconductor business segment, based in Reno, NV, minutes from the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. Discover more about this area by visiting https://www.visitrenotahoe.com [https://www.visitrenotahoe.com/].  The HR Representative administers HR programs, including but not limited to employment, employee relations, training, benefit administration, leave of absences, disability and workers compensation, and ensures the consistent application of corporate HR policies, procedures and programs and the adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service, initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of human resources experience, preferably in a technical engineering environment.
  • Minimum of five years of generalist human resources experience in a manufacturing environment with strong background in technical recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the leadership team to manage talent (including sourcing, attraction, engagement, development and retention activities), organizational development, and succession planning programs.
  • Educating employees on HORIBA’s philosophy, culture, policies and practices, fostering an employee environment that encourages and provides open and productive communications.
  • Be a key resource to employees and leadership team for employee relations and other guidance and ensure the company is compliant with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Preparing routine paperwork
  • Performing other relating duties as assigned.
