About The Position

The HR Specialist supports the organization’s people operations by delivering high-quality HR services across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. This role is critical in ensuring a positive employee experience and maintaining efficient HR processes that align with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of HR experience in a generalist or specialist capacity.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Post job openings, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and support the full lifecycle recruiting process.
  • Coordinate offer letters and pre-employment documentation.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience, including orientation, new hire paperwork, and systems setup.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure proper offboarding steps are completed.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in resolving routine employee relations inquiries and escalating concerns when appropriate.
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HRIS systems.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.
  • Assist with policy updates, handbook revisions, and audit requirements.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Help with compensation tracking, job description updates, and market data research.
