About The Position

TeleSolv Consulting has an opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist II to support a federal government client in a fast-paced, highly structured environment. This role provides hands-on administrative and operational support to HR leadership and staff, including onboarding, employee programs, reporting, and personnel records management. This is a detail-oriented, process-driven HR role that plays a key part in supporting a professional federal workforce. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a regulated environment, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience supporting Human Resources or administrative operations
  • Experience working in a structured, process-driven, or regulated environment preferred
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and sensitive information
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team-based environment

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI-PHR) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide mid-level Human Resources support, including benefits counseling and employee assistance
  • Process HR actions, including onboarding, personnel changes, and separation documentation
  • Assist with new hire orientation and employee offboarding activities
  • Respond to employee and management HR inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain HR records, files, and HR systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • May serve as Telework/Remote Work Program Coordinator
  • May administer or support employee Wellness Program activities
