About The Position

Since 1972, Therapeutic Health Services (THS) has provided evidence-based, culturally appropriate and compassionate behavioral health treatment, programs and services for children, youth, and families with substance use and mental health disorders. We are on the frontlines: Fighting the region’s opioid epidemic Providing behavioral health support for those experiencing homelessness Lowering barriers to behavioral health for youth and adults who have had challenges accessing quality care Specialists in serving the needs of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities A family of caring and compassionate providers dedicated to serving the most vulnerable in our community We are hiring a Human Resources Senior Manager to join our Seattle Team. As a Human Resources Senior Manager, you will lead THS’s people strategy and help strengthen our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. You’ll guide all core HR functions—talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce development—while championing an inclusive, equitable, and supportive workplace. In this role, you’ll collaborate across the organization to ensure staff feel valued, engaged, and empowered to make a meaningful impact in the community. This is a full-time, in-person role for candidates who thrive in a collaborative, people-focused environment. The pay ranges from $118,000-$135,000 annually.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field and 6+ years of progressively responsible HR experience including at least 3 years in an HR leadership role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HR Certification is strongly preferred (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and non-profit or behavioral health operations.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity) and data-driven decision making.
  • Proven leadership in HR team supervision, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves
