In this role, you will provide organization‑wide operational leadership and oversight of HR service delivery functions, including People Operations & Total Rewards execution, Talent Acquisition execution and onboarding, Employee Relations case management and investigations, and Employee Engagement initiatives. You will ensure HR programs and services are delivered accurately, consistently, and in alignment with organizational values, compliance standards, and strategic priorities, while helping to drive a cohesive, high‑quality employee experience across the full employment journey. In partnership with HR leadership and internal stakeholders, you will help strengthen our HR operating model and build a workplace where employees feel supported, informed, and empowered to thrive. The Human Resources Senior Department Manager provides organization-wide operational leadership and execution of Human Resources programs and services. Reporting to the Employee Experience Division Manager, this role ensures employees and managers receive accurate, timely, consistent, and compliant HR support across the full employment journey. This position directly oversees HR service delivery functions, including People Operations & Total Rewards execution, Talent Acquisition execution and onboarding, Employee Relations case management and investigations, and Employee Engagement initiatives. While HR leadership retains ownership of strategy, governance, and long‑term workforce direction, the Senior Department Manager is responsible for translating approved strategy into high‑quality operational delivery, service standards, and continuous improvement across assigned HR functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) or process improvement credentials preferred.
  • 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, including senior-level leadership.
  • Progressive HR experience with a strong generalist foundation across multiple HR disciplines, to include but not limited to People Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, compliance, and HR systems.
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple HR functions and leading through organizational change.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, regulatory compliance, and risk management within a regulated financial environment.
  • Working knowledge of talent acquisition, succession planning, total rewards, employee relations, and leadership development.
  • Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations.
  • Understanding of compensation and benefits policies and programs.
  • Demonstrated enterprise HR operations leadership with the ability to deliver consistent, compliant, and high-quality HR services.
  • Strong operational, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Sound judgment in navigating complexity, regulatory requirements, and operational risk.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams, collaborate across departments and influence outcomes.
  • Financial and vendor management acumen, including oversight of operational budgets and external partners.
  • Proven project execution and change management capabilities.
