About The Position

Purpose: This position provides general support to the Human Resources Department with a specific focus on recruitment The principal duties are intended to describe those functions that are essential to the performance of this job and must be performed unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation. Other responsibilities are those functions which are considered incidental or secondary to the overall purpose of the job. Requirements

  • Ability to work assigned schedule
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with all levels of employees
  • Understand and carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Possess excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • B.A. or A.A degree and prior recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and HR Information systems
  • Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, including ADA, EEOC, FLSA, DOL, WC is helpful.
  • Possess valid driver license

Responsibilities

  • Utilize ADP Workforce and other HR systems to update candidate status
  • Pre-qualify candidates on the phone and by email
  • Maintain ATS and data tracking for job candidates
  • Conduct phone interviews
  • Schedule virtual and in person interviews
  • Follow-up with candidates post interview
  • Create and maintain electronic filing
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Schedule pre-employment testing and screenings
  • Work with staff members on pre-hiring process
  • Attend virtual and onsite hiring events
  • Work with HR Team to plan hiring events
  • Assist in HR orientation and onboarding
  • Provide hiring data to HR Manager
  • Track signing bonus payout
  • Collaborate with other HR Team members on successful event planning
  • In addition to other HR Generalist duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned
