About The Position

Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) & Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) is an early intervention day treatment clinic for children with special needs. Once children are referred to MKSA/KULA by their primary care physicians, they must receive a developmental screening. Then, they may be scheduled for therapy evaluations at MKSA/KULA or bring recent therapy evaluation reports done elsewhere. To receive Early Intervention Day Treatment habilitation services, a child must have a documented developmental disability or delay, as shown on the results of an annual comprehensive developmental evaluation and qualify for at least one therapy service. Those services include (but are not limited to) fine motor delays, sensory disorders, gross motor delays, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding disorders, developmental delays, cognitive delays and medical needs. The HR Manager plays a key role in providing comprehensive HR support to the Operations team. This includes driving the effective execution of HR processes, employee relations, and teammate engagement. It also provides coaching and guidance to supervisors and teammates to recommend solutions to business issues, and plays a critical role in talent acquisition, onboarding, development, retention, and administrative initiatives and functions within HR. This position has the potential for continued professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • 2 years of experience in HR or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with basic business and customer service principles, including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership skills
  • Experience with FMLA, LOA and other state and federal employment laws
  • Experience supporting employee relations and strategic HR initiatives; handling sensitive, complex, and confidential information
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of payroll software, HRIS programs and Microsoft Office
  • A valid driver's license
