About The Position

The HR Manager is a high-impact, strategic partner to leaders across AAR’s OEM Supply locations throughout the United States—at the center of integrating newly acquired teams and operations into AAR. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR leader who wants to grow, lead change, and help shape how the business scales: translating integration strategy into execution by aligning talent, culture, and ways of working. You will build trusted partnerships with site and functional leaders, influence decisions with data and insights, and drive key people priorities—from workforce planning and talent acquisition to engagement, employee relations, performance, and organizational effectiveness. In a fast-moving, multi-site environment with evolving structures and business-critical transitions, you’ll help leaders navigate complexity and deliver results—while building a culture of inclusion, accountability, and high performance aligned to AAR’s values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) a plus.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with multi-site or field support experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Proven ability to support leaders as a trusted advisor and partner in driving business results.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with an ability to connect at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel 25–30%25 to supported sites across the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, aviation, or similar environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR business partner for OEM Supply site leaders across multiple U.S. locations in NJ, OK, FL, and CA.
  • Build strong partnerships with operational managers to influence and support workforce strategies, staffing, engagement, retention, and talent planning.
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, guidance on policy interpretation, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Manage full-cycle talent acquisition efforts in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, ensuring alignment with staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Support employee onboarding, development, and performance management processes.
  • Guide and support leadership with change management tools and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; partner with Legal as needed for policy advisement and compliance updates.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, recommend actions, and support continuous improvement.
  • Champion AAR’s culture, values, DEI initiatives, and employee engagement strategies.
  • All other duties assigned.
