About The Position

The HR Manager will play a hands-on role in executing core HR functions including full cycle recruiting, payroll administration, employee relations, HR operations, and HR system management. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role with partner with leadership and employes across the organization to support the full employee lifecycle while ensuring HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements are carried out effectively.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of HR experience, ideally in an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with full cycle recruitment, payroll administration, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and ATS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficient and compliant HR processes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation for employees based across 25+ states.
  • Own and manage HR systems (HRIS), including data integrity, reporting, and system enhancements.
  • Produce and analyze HR metrics (headcount, turnover, hiring data) to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws to support audits as needed.
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally (finance, IT) on employee lifecycle processes.
  • Support employee communications as needed.
  • Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition through to offer and onboarding.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers to define role requirements, job descriptions, and hiring strategies.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, direct sourcing).
  • Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, and manage candidate pipelines.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through timely and professional communication.
  • Manager and maintain ATS, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and pipeline health.
  • Prepare and deliver offers, including compensation coordination with leadership and finance.
  • Prepare and submit semi-monthly payroll information to ensure timely and accurate processing on ADP TotalSource.
  • Coordinate payroll changes including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Partner with finance to ensure payroll accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure bonuses and commissions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments and employee changes.
  • Act as primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing clear and practical HR guidance.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, documentation, and resolution.
  • Support with progress reviews, performance discussions, and employee lifecycle meetings.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of all employee relations activities.
  • Maintain accurate training records across the business.
  • Support internal training initiatives and HR system training where needed.
  • Coordinate learning and development activities or external training partnerships.
