Human Resources Manager
About The Position
A local industrial manufacturing/processing operations company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support their HR & Safety Director. This is a temporary-to-hire position, with expected conversion to regular full-time with the manufacturing company after 90 days. This position involves payroll and benefits management, HR compliance, and employee performance support . The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HR experience, is detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and clear communication with employees and leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience required
- Experience with payroll processing; familiarity with Inova is a plus
- Knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication and a team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of local, state and federal safety regulations
- OSHA Certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll and benefits administration
- Process biweekly payroll using the Inova platform
- Help ensure compliance with federal and state employment requirements
- Assist in employee assessments and provide feedback aligned with KPI goals
Benefits
- Salary: $40,000 – $60,000, commensurate with experience
