About The Position

A local industrial manufacturing/processing operations company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support their HR & Safety Director. This is a temporary-to-hire position, with expected conversion to regular full-time with the manufacturing company after 90 days. This position involves payroll and benefits management, HR compliance, and employee performance support . The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HR experience, is detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and clear communication with employees and leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience required
  • Experience with payroll processing; familiarity with Inova is a plus
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication and a team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of local, state and federal safety regulations
  • OSHA Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll and benefits administration
  • Process biweekly payroll using the Inova platform
  • Help ensure compliance with federal and state employment requirements
  • Assist in employee assessments and provide feedback aligned with KPI goals
