About The Position

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible to manage, coach, and evaluate the performance of the Human Resources Coordinator. The ability to analyze, delegate and follow through on responsibilities within the department is an important and necessary skill set for the department manager. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of human resources and the laws, regulations, and government reporting requirements associated with large employers. The Human Resources Manager will assist with developing and administering the facility’s human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, and health and safety. This position will have a strong emphasis on employee relations, including overseeing and providing guidance on employee coaching, corrective action, unemployment, and escalated employee complaints.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR or equivalent experience in management required.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborates with management and leadership team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources and the laws, regulations, and government reporting requirements associated with large employers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Effective and proficient communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Familiar with and understands Company’s processes and procedures.
  • Experience leading a team to achieve a common goal.
  • Proficient with and enjoy detailed work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Good phone etiquette.
  • Coachable and willing to learn.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.
  • Effective time management skills to achieve results through prioritizing demands.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills and effective decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, preferred.
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Self-starter and able to work without direct supervision.
  • Work well with others and coordinate activities with other departments and locations within the company.
  • Work, as necessary, fifteen percent or more as overtime hours.
