About The Position

AdvanceCare Health Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to ensure that all human resources (HR) operations are carried out smoothly and effectively. This role requires managing programs and leading staff with a strong strategic mindset, aiming to meet all HR needs of the company and align them with business objectives. This is a hybrid full-time position, 40 hours per week. The company is a growing, non-medical, private duty home care organization providing caregiving services to seniors and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities throughout Tennessee. The ideal candidate is independent, self-motivated, possesses a high level of energy, and must currently live in Tennessee. The company is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.

Requirements

  • Must currently live in Tennessee
  • Experience in Human Resources Management
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
  • Business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards

  • Must have a 27" or larger monitor, keyboard, and mouse to use with our company-issued laptop (or can be loaned if picking up equipment at office)

  • Requires a quiet, professional workspace when working from home

  • Ability to stay focused and organized without direct supervision
  • Regular communication with leadership and team members is essential
  • Timely responsiveness during business hours is expected when working from home

Responsibilities

  • Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
  • Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
  • Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics
  • Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance
  • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
  • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
  • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
  • Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
