The Opportunity As Vitra Health’s Senior Human Resources Manage you will be a key player in our fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for an individual with solid human resources experience, capable of managing competing priorities in a highly organized and structured manner. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in employee relations, HR operations & compliance, Human resources Information Systems and talent management. The individual will lead a team of HR generalists and recruiters ensuring outstanding performance and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources and/ or related field required
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience
  • Outstanding organizational, data analysis and reporting skills
  • Knowledge compliance and employee relations
  • HR related regulation and laws
  • Ability to multitask and excel in fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems
  • Travel between Vitra sites
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to thirty-five pounds; require pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to thirty-five pounds; requires walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the department and staff
  • Ensure department deliverables and follow up are timely and accurate
  • In partnership with HR senior leadership, implement, and refine HR strategies, policies, and initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and staff, promoting a culture of collaboration, engagement, and professional growth
  • Lead employee relations matters, acting as a trusted advisor for problem resolution and maintaining a positive work environment, while remaining in compliance with legal regulations and internal processes.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations issues, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and progressive disciplinary action.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to assess staffing needs, workforce trends, and retention opportunities
  • Collaborate with recruiting and hiring managers across the health center to ensure strategic candidate screening, effective interviewing processes, and clear communication.
  • Ensure onboarding of new team members is positive and employment information is gathered in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Ensure HR and related policies and procedures are aligned with best practice practices and/ or state and federal laws
  • Develop behavioral interview guides and tools, including customized forms with feedback and rating sections, to set managers up for hiring success.
  • Work with hiring managers to design and implement role-specific interviewing, onboarding, training, and development tools and processes.
  • Leads yearly benefit selection and open enrollment
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify training, development, and coaching needs across the organization.
  • Provide regular coaching for select managers and targeted coaching for those in need of development, with timelines and metrics to track progress.
  • In collaboration with leadership, leads employee engagement initiatives and surveys
  • Monitor and update job descriptions as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and provide guidance to recruiters when necessary.
  • Foster an employee-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and productivity.
  • Tracks and monitor HR budget
  • Track KPIs and metrics and present regular reports. Use data-driven insights to drive HR and operational decision making.
  • Communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully and professionally
  • Handle other departmental projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and support for organizational goals.
  • Ensures information is handled in alignment with confidentiality expectations in accordance with Vitra standards, local, state and federal laws.
  • Foster a culture of customer service and commitment to quality care.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Vitra reflecting our vision, mission and values.
