About The Position

O’Brien‑Staley Partners (OSP) is seeking a strategic and collaborative Human Resources Manager to support the employee lifecycle across our affiliated businesses. This role partners closely with business managers and the HR team to implement people strategies, enhance organizational effectiveness, and ensure an exceptional employee experience. The HR Manager will guide leaders through workforce planning, employee relations, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This individual will also support change initiatives, process improvements, and the use of technology to drive efficiency and alignment with business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist, HR Manager, or comparable experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend compliant, business‑focused solutions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency across multiple areas of HR with strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High comfort level with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective consultation, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and creativity.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze people metrics to support data‑driven talent and business decisions.
  • Coach and advise managers on resolving employee relations and organizational issues.
  • Partner with managers on talent movement and workforce planning.
  • Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and employment law to resolve discipline and performance related matters.
  • Serve as a resource for employees, addressing questions and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Support strategic staffing plans, organizational development initiatives, and major change efforts.
  • Collaborate with the HR team and managers to identify trends, drive improvements, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and recommend adjustments to minimize company risk.
  • Respond to audit requests.
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing and administration as needed.
  • Ensure timely reporting for all local, state, and federal employment requirements.
  • Leverage technology and automation to improve process efficiency and quality.
  • Uphold high standards of quality, accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with company values.
