About The Position

VersaDesk is a fast-growing ergonomic furniture brand that has been redefining the modern workspace for the past 25 years. We design and manufacture high-performance standing desks and workspace solutions sold nationwide through eCommerce. As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our team and looking for talented individuals who can help support and strengthen our operations. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and develop our HR strategies, systems, and team management processes. This role will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and company culture.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in Human Resources or HR management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, recruitment, and employee relations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with remote teams is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HR software or employee management systems
  • Experience hiring for eCommerce, marketing, or technical roles
  • Ability to build scalable HR systems for a growing company

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Oversee job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring decisions
  • Manage relationships with hiring platforms such as Upwork and other recruiting channels
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and HR-related inquiries
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Implement performance review systems and evaluation processes
  • Monitor employee productivity and performance metrics
  • Work with leadership to improve team performance and accountability
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company standards
  • Manage HR documentation, contracts, and employee agreements
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs
  • Support team leaders in building stronger, more effective teams
  • Help build a positive and productive company culture
  • Improve communication and collaboration across departments
