About The Position

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all Human Resources related duties for the company, including recruiting, overseeing onboarding, retention, training and employee relations. This role involves actively sourcing and filling company positions, collaborating with third-party recruiting firms, and overseeing the onboarding process for new employees. The manager will track and document compliance with various mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments, and will be responsible for investigating and resolving employee issues and conflicts. Additionally, the role includes assisting with new employee orientation, supporting career planning and advancement, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. The HR Manager will also handle employment-related inquiries, schedule and document employee training, and conduct exit interviews to gather insights for employee retention strategies. The position requires the ability to work overtime and maintain regular, punctual attendance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a Human Resources environment
  • Heavy recruitment experience is required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Familiar with state and federal laws regarding employment practices
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Extensive travel required to support recruiting initiatives, candidate interviews, and regional operations across multiple states
  • Must be comfortable with frequent travel and able to maintain productivity while working from various locations
  • Regular, punctual attendance is required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources is preferred
  • Industry specific recruitment experience is preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred not required

Responsibilities

  • Locate, recruit, and fill company positions
  • Work with 3ʳᵈ party companies in recruiting
  • Oversee the onboarding processes of new employees for the division
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
  • Plan and assist in new employee orientation to present a positive attitude toward company goals
  • Assist employees and management in career planning, employee advancement and growth within the company
  • Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employee training and employee relation issues
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
  • Schedule all training for each employee in the company and maintain documentation of the training in HR
  • Conduct exit interviews when possible to determine reasons behind separations
  • Gather exit information to present to management to help gain knowledge on ways to retain employees
