Job Summary: Assists the Human Resource Department with administrative tasks by performing the following duties Essential Functions: Perform clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and shredding. Coordinates employee orientation packets. Scans and files documents as needed. Updates Training Matrix with personnel training records. Assists in updating employee performance reward programs such as “Safety Bingo”. Assists in front desk coverage when needed. Participate in interviews. Development of veteran outreach.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as proposals, MS word files, PowerPoint files, etc.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Presentation software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
