About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Human Resource department with transactional and administrative duties. The successful candidate is also expected to provide marketing and community relations support for on-going activities. Opportunity for other exposure to the business is available as well. This will allow the HR department to focus on value added, strategic work to support the business.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration (preferably in Human Resources) with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Teams.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask with deadlines.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend/stoop, kneel, push/pull, and handle/grip frequently.
  • Must be able to work scheduled 40 hours.
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs.
  • Regular reaching, bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Repetitive motion and substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure job descriptions and job postings match, to include all education and physical requirements are listed.
  • Run weekly and/or monthly reports on headcount, overtime, or any other necessary information for the business.
  • Attend career and county fairs to increase brand recognition in the local area.
  • Evaluate potential opportunities identified during brainstorming meetings.
