About The Position

This internship provides hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and administrative support. The intern will gain valuable insight into the inner workings of a busy HR department and contribute meaningfully to key HR projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS system
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing résumés, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding activities such as preparing orientation materials, conducting new hire checklists, and ensuring documentation is complete.
  • Help maintain employee records and update the HRIS system with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Support compliance tracking, such as training completions and I-9 verifications
  • Provide general administrative support, such as filing, copying, and responding to HR inquiries.
