We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support key HR initiatives across recruiting, benefits administration, and performance management. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world HR experience while contributing meaningfully to the employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, people-first organization. This role is designed for approximately 4 hours per day onsite at our Tampa headquarters.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A genuine interest in recruiting, benefits, and performance management, with a desire to build foundational HR skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) and willing to learn HR systems and applicant tracking tools.
  • Able to commit to approximately 4 hours per day, with a consistent schedule starting in June through October.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Help ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Support benefits-related activities such as enrollments, employee questions, documentation, and coordination with vendors, gaining exposure to health, wellness, and retirement programs.
  • Help administer performance review cycles, track goals and documentation, and support initiatives focused on employee development and engagement.
  • Assist with updating HR systems, employee records, and reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
  • Participate in special HR initiatives and projects as needed, providing exposure to broader HR operations and best practices.
