About The Position

DWC CPAs and Advisors is seeking a motivated and reliable HR Intern to join our team, where your contributions will support key people initiatives and day-to-day operations. We are looking for someone who can commit to working approximately 10-15 hours per week beginning in May and ideally continuing through the following May. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, contributes with consistency, and is available to work during portions of winter break to help maintain continuity with ongoing projects and responsibilities. Human Resources Intern Compensation: Pay: From $22.75 per hour Position Type: Part-Time Non-Exempt In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Compensation Differentials for this position are based on education, experience, training, and geographic location, as well as DWC's seniority and merit systems. Requirements

  • Enrollment in 4 year college in a human resources program or equivalent education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting processes
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with benefits administration
  • Maintain data and employee files in Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Participate in planning and implementation of firm wide events
  • Prepare HR-related reports, as needed
  • Assist with various HR projects
