This position provides comprehensive HR support and coordination related to a wide variety of HR activities. Primary areas of responsibility include onboarding new hires, management of employee files and data, managing the Company's employee parking programs, and supporting event planning needs for the department. This intern is expected to perform responsibilities by using appropriate tools, resources, and procedures to inform Headquarters HR leadership. Groups serviced include active employees, managers, HR business partners, and coordinators. (1) Main Responsibilities: Leading weekly onboarding sessions for new employees Supporting the completion of the I-9 process for new hires Employee File Management and Digitization Management of Company's Employee Parking Programs Monitoring the shared Corporate HQHR email inbox Supporting Event Planning activities (2) Other Responsibilities: On occasion, this position may be asked to complete other responsibilities such as department administrative duties (e.g. answering the phone, welcoming internal & external customers, etc.) Supporting other HR processes and projects as necessary under direction of manager or other members of the Corporate HR team. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. “Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
