About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will learn the basics of how an HR department operates, touching employee relations, compensation and benefits, business partnership, and focusing on recruiting and talent acquisition. The selected student will partner with 10+ HR professionals, including departmental leadership. What you will do: Talent Acquisition — handling applications, job postings, interview scheduling, basic phone screening etc. Work with HR Business Partners and leadership in support of Job Description standardization. You will work to standardize job titles and descriptions across our various locations. This is a large-scale project where the intern will play a research and support role. Project work with our plant HR team as well as our regional HR business partners — could include employee onboarding, benefits orientation, attendance and rewards tracking And much more! To be Eligible you must: Be a full-time student in a 4-year college program in an aligned Major (Junior year completed — preferred) Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Have good attendance and punctuality record Possess excellent communication and computer skills — working in MS Office suite. Work effectively within a team as well as independently Program Requirements: Adhere to all company policies Attend orientation, check-in meetings with HR Final presentation — prepare and present to company management Work Environment Professional office environment and work on a manufacturing floor Sedentary work with extended periods of computer use Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) — if required

Requirements

  • Be a full-time student in a 4-year college program in an aligned Major (Junior year completed — preferred)
