About The Position

Are you a highly organized and enthusiastic student with a passion for people and an eagerness to learn the fundamentals of Human Resources? Join our dynamic HR team this summer as an HR Intern and play a vital part in supporting our operations and employee culture. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting all aspects of HR operations, from ensuring data accuracy to helping us build a vibrant employee culture. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR functions and contribute directly to our employees' success and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Highly organized with an exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service mindset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • Interest in leveraging technology, including AI tools, to create process efficiencies.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn and grow within the HR field.
  • Proven experience as a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys supporting others.

Responsibilities

  • Be a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our HR processes by documenting and updating standard operating procedures and recommending innovative ways to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain meticulous employee records and offsite databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Research and document potential applications of AI tools for minor HR process automation and efficiency gains
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding and off-boarding experience for new hires, managers, and student interns, setting them up for success from day one.
  • Play a key role in bringing our employee events and programs to life, from social gatherings to company-wide initiatives. You'll help with coordination, logistics, and ensuring everyone has a memorable experience.
  • Generate impactful reports on key HR metrics, such as hiring, terminations, and exit interviews, providing valuable insights to our HR teams.
  • Support preparation of materials for HR program launches and initiatives.
  • Manage general HR administrative tasks, including processing invoices, handling mail distribution, and maintaining organized files.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP team on various projects, administrative tasks and provide essential support to ensure successful outcomes.
