Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Intern provides administrative support for the recruiting and hiring process, with exposure to other HR functions. Responsibilities & Duties: Support and lead recruitment efforts for hourly, shop-floor positions. Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews. Assist with new-hire orientation and onboarding activities. Serve as a technical resource by addressing and resolving questions and issues related to the recruiting function. Create and post job openings on various job boards, internal platforms, and social media channels. Organize and maintain employee records by scanning and uploading new and existing documents into the electronic filing system. Assist the Human Resources department with additional HR-related functions and projects, as assigned. Manage and respond to departmental mail and correspondence. Follow and comply with all safety regulations and work rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
