About The Position

The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) in addition to other systems and metrics supported by the HR team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists the HR department by ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding of HR processes and data.
  • Working knowledge of systems, reporting functions, and data analysis.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • One to two years of project management experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience with systems such as Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, BusinessPLUS and Frontline (Absence Management and Recruiting & Hiring).

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan.
  • Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
  • Supports the maintenance, accuracy, and functionality of the human resources information systems (HRIS) by reviewing, testing, and implementing system updates; maintaining data integrity; and collaborating with internal departments and external partners on HR metrics, reporting, and system improvements.?
  • Provides production and help desk support to system users, including troubleshooting issues, conducting data analyses, and ensuring timely resolution of technical or administrative inquiries.
  • Recommends and implements process and service improvements, manages or coordinates HRIS-related projects, and serves as liaison between HR, IT, payroll, and other stakeholders.
  • Develops and delivers HRIS reports, queries, and analytics to support ongoing operational and strategic needs, while maintaining data accuracy and compliance.?
  • Prepares and maintains user documentation, procedures, and training materials; provides training to new and existing users on system functionality and process changes.?
  • Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
  • Provides administrative support such as preparing and composing confidential correspondence and receiving and screening telephone calls.
  • Executes and coordinates office operations such as cross departmental meetings, conferences, workshops, appointments, and/or special events, as related to the HRIS role.
