About The Position

The HR Coordinator is responsible for executing core People Operations processes across onboarding, compliance, HR systems, and employee lifecycle administration. This role ensures accuracy, consistency, and a high-quality employee experience through reliable execution of day-to-day HR operations. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role serves as the operational backbone of the People function, partnering closely with HR leadership to support scalable and compliant processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in HR coordination, HR operations, or administrative roles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, and HR administration
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in startup or scaling organizations
  • Experience supporting technical or engineering teams
  • Experience with Rippling and other HRIS systems
  • HR certification preferred (e.g., PHR certification, SHRM-CP)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration, ensuring a smooth and well-organized employee experience
  • Manage and maintain HR systems (e.g., Rippling), ensuring data accuracy, user access, and effective system functionality; support updates, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • ​​Serve as the primary point of contact for the PEO, ensuring effective coordination of HR operations and key programs, and supporting resolution of payroll, benefits, and compliance-related inquiries or exceptions
  • Manage day-to-day coordination with IT vendors to ensure a smooth technical onboarding experience and support ongoing process improvements
  • Maintain employee records and support HR compliance processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with federal, state, and local requirements (e.g., I-9s, notices, required trainings); maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR processes, systems, and policies, escalating more complex issues to HR leadership, as needed
  • Support implementation of new tools, workflows, and programs led by HR leadership
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of processes and procedures
