Under the general direction of a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), the Human Resources Generalist provides daily HR employee relations, training, and administrative functions in supporting leaders and managers in assigned Client Delivery Group and assist in strategy and development as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible HR experience and familiarity with recordkeeping, understanding and explaining personnel policies, and/or employee training preferred
  • Physical Ability to work onsite in standard office environment and lift up 10 pounds frequently, up to 25 pounds regularly, and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Frequent walking of 10 minutes or less
  • Frequent standing of more than 10 minutes but less than 60 minutes
  • Frequent speaking of more than 10 minutes but less than 60 minutes
  • Frequent use of standard office equipment including: Computer, Headset, Cellular Phone, Web Camera, Keyboard, Mouse, Electronic Access Devices
  • Ability to create, read, review, and analyze written and electronic records

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources certification highly preferred
  • Experience supporting Collective Bargaining Units is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations/Compliance Intake employee complaints and completes investigations according to industry best practices
  • Assist in the collection of employee records in preparation for investigations, administrative proceedings, and/or litigation
  • Schedule, coordinate, attend, and record meetings as required by HR Business Partners
  • Coordinate with Collective Bargaining Unit and representatives in pursuit of common goals
  • Facilitate established training sessions
  • Maintain training records
  • Manage employee movement in Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Create content to support learning goals and objectives
  • Creates and maintain employee records across systems
  • Routes physical, electronic, and voice mail to designated locations
  • Assist in the preparation of standing and ad-hoc reports following established procedures
  • Correspond with employees and support HR Generalists and Business Partners in addressing concerns as appropriate
  • Manages daily facility operations including inventory, coordinating maintenance and vendors, assisting in safety matters as allowable and ensuring overall operational readiness
  • Support projects assigned to Human Resources
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned
