About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist (Night Shift) provides on-site HR support within a manufacturing/plant environment and serves as the primary HR contact for second-shift employees. This role is responsible for employee relations, onboarding, policy enforcement, attendance tracking, and HR administrative functions. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), professional, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Hours may vary based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment
  • Knowledge of employment laws, attendance policies, and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently during night shift hours
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for second-shift manufacturing employees
  • Communicate effectively with employees in both English and Spanish
  • Support employee relations, including addressing concerns, interpreting policies, and escalating issues as needed
  • Support disciplinary and corrective action processes in accordance with company policy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and employment laws
  • Partner with production supervisors and management to support workforce needs
  • Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation as required
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Perform additional HR duties as assigned
