About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing human resources support for the facility, which includes assisting in recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, assist in maintaining all personnel records and files, assist in conducting employee benefits and retirement program enrollment meetings, responding to insurance and unemployment compensation correspondence, employment verifications and assist in organizing all employee activities and in-services. Valley Hospital is a 122-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in human resources or related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a Human Resources Department; preferably in a hospital and/or healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system required; iCIMS preferred.
  • Experience with Excel spreadsheets, data entry, data tracking, and organizational skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM - Certified Professional or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
  • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system required; iCIMS preferred.
