About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist position supports key human resources functions with a primary focus on recruiting top talent, fostering a positive team member experience, and payroll. This role partners with leadership and hiring managers to manage the full recruitment lifecycle while developing initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and Clementine’s culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience with strong exposure to recruiting and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and recruitment strategies.
  • Experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience with employee engagement surveys and retention programs.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with employees and leadership at all levels.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and recruitment platforms.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate background checks and employment verification.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate pipeline.
  • Implement initiatives that promote team member engagement, morale, and workplace satisfaction.
  • Support team member recognition programs, team-building activities, and engagement events.
  • Assist in conducting team member surveys and analyzing feedback to improve workplace culture.
  • Partner with the Human Resource Director to develop strategies that improve retention and engagement.
  • Support onboarding programs that help new team members integrate successfully.
  • Promote Clementine’s mission, vision, values, and a positive work culture.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new team members.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Assist in administering HR programs such as benefits, training, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects that support organizational growth and workforce planning.
