About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting daily HR operations, acting as a key partner to management and employees. This position ensures compliance, enhances employee experience, and supports payroll, HRIS, and performance management processes across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with payroll processing, HRIS systems, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Well - organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to time sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to work well independently and in groups.
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Programs; Excel and Word.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
  • Ability to lift 10–20 lbs., stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in banking related field
  • Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR).
  • Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional Certification (SHRM-CP).

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and manage HRIS systems, including data integrity, reporting, and system updates.
  • Support performance management processes including reviews, coaching, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, and onboarding.
  • Provide employee relations support and guidance to managers and staff.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure audit readiness.
  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
