About The Position

The HR Generalist supports day‑to‑day human resources operations and ensures the smooth execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role serves as a trusted advisor and works closely with employees and management to provide guidance, resolve issues, and maintain a positive and compliant workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in HR, business, Employee Relations, or related field preferred; HR certification (SHRM-CP or similar) preferred
  • 3+ years with a broad-based HR generalist background
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels
  • Sound judgment and decision-making
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving
  • Relationship building and collaboration
  • Dedicated self-starter with strong worth ethic who works well in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
  • Experience using HRIS/Payroll Systems, ADP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and leaders.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and workplace concerns in a fair and timely manner.
  • Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee relations programs, policies, and training.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to analyze trends and recommend solutions that support engagement and retention.
  • Support HR managers in planning, coordinating, and delivering required HR compliance trainings, ensuring materials are up to date, attendance is tracked, and completion records are accurately maintained.
  • Support management in the development of employees including coaching and mentoring
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations case documentation.
  • Support workplace culture initiatives to foster inclusion, trust, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams as needed on sensitive or complex cases.
  • Other duties as assigned.
