About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a growing Engineering firm headquartered in Little Rock with four locations and approximately 100 employees, seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support company-wide HR operations. This key role will handle both strategic and hands-on HR functions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and employee engagement across all sites.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of HR generalist experience , preferably in a multi-location or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding, employee relations, benefits, FMLA, and compliance administration .
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (Paycom, ADP, or similar).
• Excellent communication, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and proven ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes , ensuring a smooth experience for new hires and departures.
• Support employee relations by providing professional guidance, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Administer FMLA and other leave programs, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Manage company benefits administration , including enrollment, changes, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor and enforce HR compliance with employment laws and company policies across all locations.
• Revamp and update the employee handbook , policies, and procedures to reflect current practices and regulatory updates.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and support payroll and timekeeping coordination as needed.
• Partner with leadership and managers to identify training needs, support performance reviews, and improve HR processes.
