About The Position

We are seeking a strategic, proactive, and highly capable Human Resources Generalist to support and enhance all aspects of HR operations across the organization. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to people leaders, employees, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of HR practices with organizational goals and compliance with federal/state employment laws. This role is critical in driving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and a positive company culture. The HR Generalist will manage a broad spectrum of human resources functions including but not limited to performance management, employee relations, HR compliance, HR analytics, onboarding/offboarding and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in generalist or business partner capacity.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel and HR systems (e.g., HRIS/Paycom).
  • Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Effective problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues objectively and consistently.
  • Advise leadership on performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and corrective actions.
  • Performance & Talent Management Partner with managers to support performance appraisal cycles and career development planning.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on performance management and succession planning initiatives.
  • HR Policy & Compliance Ensure consistent application and communication of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with federal/state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
  • Update HR policies and employee handbook as needed.
  • HR Operations & Analytics Manage HRIS records, reporting, and HR metrics dashboards.
  • Produce HR analytics to support decisions around turnover, retention, performance, and engagement.
  • Engagement & Culture Recommend and support employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs.
  • Help lead training initiatives (e.g., compliance training, leadership skill building).
  • Employee Lifecycle Management Coordinate and conduct onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Support exit interviews and offboarding processes.
