About The Position

Retail Merchandising Services (RMS) in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their HR team. This fast-paced position is central to talent acquisition efforts, playing a pivotal role in shaping the workforce and ensuring employee success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous Human Resources experience
  • Basic knowledge of employment law best practices required
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal/customer service abilities
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with high volume, non-exempt recruiting strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a retail setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting efforts for field positions by identifying and utilizing a variety of candidate sourcing strategies to meet assigned recruiting metrics
  • Conduct screening interviews for qualified candidates using behavioral, competency based tools
  • Process required background checks and new hire paperwork for select candidates
  • Research employment legislation in different jurisdictions
  • Oversee time off requests for field employees in order to minimize unassigned retail locations
  • Work on assigned HR related projects as requested
