The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator performs administration functions relating to hiring, recruitment, benefits and compensation and other Human Resources department tasks.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to ask questions and to take on additional responsibilities

  • Recent working knowledge and experience with HRIS
  • Minimum of 3-5 Years prior experience in an Human Resources role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Summer Associate recruiting annually
  • Perform administrative functions necessary for onboarding, compensation, benefits, termination and other Human Resources related items
  • Conduct new employee orientation
  • Design and conduct educational training as it relates to changes in benefits, etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate personnel records
  • Administer timely and appropriate performance evaluations
  • Provides administrative support for the recruitment of Attorneys, Staff and Paralegals
  • Document appropriate personnel and wage information changes and send documentation to the payroll department for processing
  • Administer and keep information on benefits and compensation packages up to date
  • Administer the employee benefit program
  • Assist the Director of Administration with the selection of insurance policies, agents and carriers
  • Participate as a member of the events committee
  • Administer programs that provide employee engagement
  • Communicate regularly with and keep the Director of Administration informed on all matters
  • Some limited travel may be required at times to other office locations
  • Other duties as assigned
