About The Position

The law office of Marshall Dennehey, P.C., a large insurance defense firm, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Philadelphia headquarters. This position plays an integral role within our Human Resources team by supporting daily HR operations and providing administrative assistance to ensure the department functions efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. All candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of two years of Human Resources experience. We are seeking a talented individual with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to meet deadlines. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years Human Resources experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs
  • Organize and maintain the confidential personnel files of all Firm employees
  • Perform clerical functions for the department, including photocopying, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents
  • Prepare and track new hire paperwork, including I-9 forms and onboarding agreements and documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Assist in posting job openings and screening résumés
  • Assist with preparing HR communications, memos, and forms
  • Help maintain HR calendars, schedules, and department organization
  • Routinely check in with Office Managers to identify opportunities to assist with administrative or HR‑related needs
  • Perform special projects as assigned
