The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator supports North America HR by providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This role focuses on executing administrative duties and operational transactions to improve North America’s HR capabilities and processes. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at Northeastern University with a May-June 2027/2028 graduation date and ability to intern with us from June 8, 2026-December 18, 2026.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with multiple stakeholders across the organization with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to proactively prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects and demands concurrently.
  • Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient MS Excel skills required.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies information from multiple sources to ensure accurate and clean data entry and performs regular quality assurance checks on transactional system data in support of the HR Operations and Data Management Team.
  • Assists with upkeeping electronic employee records, ensuring record completeness and consistency; proactively follows up or searches for missing or more recent records.
  • Prepares ad hoc employee reports making sure the included data, format, and presentation is appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Is tech savvy with applications and platforms such as PowerAutomate, Power Query, PowerBI and similar data science and analytics products to report, analyze and present data to various stakeholders.
  • Supports the HR Operations and Data Management Team with employee lifecycle transactions and records, such as employment verifications, relocations, internal transfers, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Supports the HR Operations and Data Management Team to create and/or continuously update detailed process documentation for HR transactions and repeatable processes and procedures.
  • Supports the HR Operations team with administrative activities including coordinating invoice approvals and payments, scheduling meetings and events, maintaining compliance notices in office locations, and drafting templates for employee communications and inquiry responses.
  • Supports the HR Operations teams with special projects to enhance processes & resources.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
