The work requires making decisions that support company guidelines authoritatively and quickly. As a Human Resource Compensation Specialist, you will provide professional support in all areas of Human Resources with a primary focus of compensation and analytics. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including day-to-day administration and management for the Human Resources team including but not limited to processing/updating data including record keeping into the human resources management system database, administration of compensation and act as a liaison between leaders during the compensation approval process, and verification that all forms and actions taken or requested are consistent with the Bank’s policies, procedures and in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Additionally, you are expected to assist the Human Resources leaders in compensation planning activities, such as reporting, metrics and dashboards. You will be expected to resolve compensation related problems, coordinate pre-employment, assist with events such as associate recognition/appreciation, holiday events, recruiting events, assist with other Human Resources needs such as onboarding, orientation, offboarding, recognition, community activism, and generalist processes. Also, there is an expectation to build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
