If you possess the desire to work for a great company, then we would love to have you!  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Overall responsibility for all HR functions for all departments, including employee relations, recruiting, selection and onboarding, implementation and administration of human resources programs and employment policies, personnel record-keeping, workforce development, and compliance with HR laws and regulations. Develop, create, and oversee job posting content to ensure a consistent message is marketed to potential candidates. Organize and attend on-site recruiting events at local colleges and other establishments as needed. Acts as liaison between team members and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations. Resolves routine team member relations issues and complaints. Refers difficult or very complex issues to the HR Director as needed. Keeps management advised of potential problem areas and recommends/implements solutions as appropriate. Assists team members and managers regarding general issues pertaining to benefits, terminations, policy interpretation, and other HR products and deliverables. Assists with communicating changes to team members and conducting team member presentations. Participates in staff meetings and works to expand knowledge in all HR disciplines through on-the-job training, in-house training, self-study, and outside training as available. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning onboarding, employment, team member relations, and terminations. Conducts and analyzes exit interview data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action, continuous improvement, and increased retention rates. Manages entire licensing process for new hires and renewals. Works as part of the HR Team to ensure excellence in service to our Team Members. Manages Team Member Recognition programs and Team Member Events. Responsible for absence management tracking and compliance.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with recruiting technology a plus.
  • An extremely high sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • The ability to independently manage multiple competing demands.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly responsive to both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Human Resources, Business or related fields.
  • 3-5 years’ experience recruiting for all levels within an organization.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a gaming license issued by the Maryland State Lottery & Gaming Control Agency required of all Gaming establishment employees.
