The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) delivers HR strategies and services to effectively build the organizational capacity required to achieve business goals and imperatives. The HRBP will provide thought leadership in the development of organizational capability through effective change management, talent management and performance management. The HRBP will provide support to managers and employees throughout Freshpet. The HRBP will serve as a generalist to support the areas of employee/labor relations, benefit/retirement/total rewards, talent management, performance management, organizational effectiveness and learning & development to drive and implement HR initiatives and innovative solutions in support of the business strategy. Leads initiatives to foster positive employee relations, an engaged workforce, a positive culture and effective communication throughout the organization. Promotes a climate of inclusion through actions, results and behaviors leading to a strong, diverse culture that drives business performance. Builds effective and sustainable employee relationships. Interprets and administers company policies and provides support in compliance efforts related to labor and employment law. Provides advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures and documentation.
