Georgia State University is seeking an experienced, highly collaborative Human Resources Business Partner focused on University strategic initiatives. The HRBP will serve asHR lead in Human Resources Administration (HRA) providing full-cycle human resources support and serves as the initial point of contact for HR matters supporting new and ongoing positions/personnel actions in critical areas and University Strategic Initiatives. In addition, this role will provide general guidance to division/college HR Officers on matters related to high priority HR actions. The HR Business Partner develops partnerships across HR Administration to deliver value-added service. The HR Business Partner is a key member of the Central HR team and reports directly to the Sr. Director, HR Business Partners. A successful incumbent of this position will deliver high-quality experience, provide great internal and external customer support and deliver HR excellence. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition/recruitment, employment processing, class and comp, performance management and employee relations.
