Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, project management, collaboration, and matrix management skills
  • Performance management, workforce planning, talent management, change management, company culture, and transformation initiatives.

  • HRIS systems (UKG Ready), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a strict level of confidentiality and discretion. Is privy to executive-level business data.
  • Has extensive access to personnel records.
  • Updates employee profiles including changes in status, payroll, and corrective actions.
  • Is careful not to overshare information, maintains need-to-know discretion at all times.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Serves as HR Point of Contact for exempt and nonexempt employees in their location or region. Manages ER concerns and conducts investigations.
  • Work closely with leadership to improve team member work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and their application to our workforce. Maintains current knowledge of updates to employment laws. Partners with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers to ensure Federal and State labor employment laws are complied with.
  • Deep knowledge of company policies and procedures, as well as where to reference the information.
  • Able to recognize non-compliance and escalate for resolution.
  • Leads professional development sessions for associates and people leaders within their region or FC. May create training materials used across the organization (Ex. How-To Guides)
  • Oversees the Harassment Renewals for all employees in their region or FC
  • Responsible for aligning business objectives with HR solutions in the organizations they support. Provide guidance and input on warehouse business strategy.
  • Form effective relationships with area warehouse leadership, department heads, managers, and team members; providing HR guidance.
  • Analyze trends and KPIs in partnership with the HR Ops group to develop solutions, programs, and opportunities for FC efficiency.
  • May supervise a Human Resources Coordinator.
  • Mentors and coaches FC leadership and HR direct report
  • Thinks before responding to questions or situations. Uses their professional and legal knowledge to navigate obstacles.
  • When appropriate, escalates to senior HR leaders.
