Requirements

Three (3) years of professional human resources program experience.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Work closely with hiring managers to develop staffing and recruitment plans that meet the needs of their department; advertise vacancies; evaluate applicant selection; coordinate and conduct applicant testing and interviewing.
Assist with the onboarding of new employees and ensure a positive experience.
Advise employees and supervisors in policy interpretation; assist in employee training and development.
Conduct studies, analysis, and research on a broad range of human resources assignments including job audits, classification, and compensation.
Provide staff assistance in employee relations, grievances, and benefits.
Research, evaluate, and implement a variety of employee programs.
Analyze legislation and regulations to determine the effect on personnel programs and services.
Other duties as assigned.
