Responsibilities Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Full Time, HR Business Partner to join our team in Lewiston! Position Summary: Partners with assigned business units/teams to incorporate human resources expertise to support business strategies, priorities, issues, and needs to maximize departmental performance. Provides strategic direction and guidance to all levels of leadership, on the development and implementation of workforce best practices to advance the mission, vision, service standards and culture of the organization. Provides team member relations support directly to team members and indirectly through the Team Member Relations Specialists, including managing poor performance, managing conflict, addressing retention issues, etc. Identifies issues or trends that suggest changes to policies and procedures. Researches and advises on the latest developments and trends in human resources policy interpretation, labor relations, regulatory compliance, and federal/state/local law.
