The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for partnering with business leaders and employees on the strategic support of Human Resource services for the organization. This HRBP will assist in resolving complex Employee Relations issues, provide day to day support on generalist HR needs, guide managers through navigating best practices and processes, and translate priorities into actions. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm Location: Onsite; Larkspur, CA with occasional travel to Pleasanton, CA & San Mateo, CA By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in Human Resource business partner, generalist, manager, or similar level role.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent HRIS ADP experience preferred.
  • Recent healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company initiatives in the strategic direction or coaching provided to managers and employees.
  • Act as a resource for staff and management to ensure their understanding and compliance with HR policies and regulations. Work closely with Sr. Director of Human Resources on potential problem areas.
  • In the absence of the Sr. Director of Human Resources, provide advice and guidance to senior managers on handling of sensitive personnel matters.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Possibility of management of other HR staff members.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of HR systems to ensure survey readiness and compliance with organization policies – including required Healthcare Regulatory Audits.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resource management.
