About The Position

KANAWHA COUNTY Under general supervision, will assist the Human Resource Director by performing administrative work and providing support services in the area of Personnel Administration and Human Recourses related areas for the Bureau for Behavioral Health (BBH). Answer questions relating to policies and procedures within the Bureau. Resolve problems related to administrative and personnel activities within the Bureau primarily related to time keeping UKG PRO and Oasis. Assist fiscal data, payroll, OHRM, DOP, and Administration staff as needed in preparing or entering documents, and answering questions regarding leave use, time keeping, FMLA, ADA, and other HR related needs. Prepare and enter monitor documents in the Oasis system for Central Office. Acts as timekeeper for the Bureau. Assist in maintaining personnel files for BBH. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or part-time equivalent paid clerical experience, one (1) year of which must have been in a support or paraprofessional role in human resources, payroll, bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Substitution: Candidates may substitute education for the required experience at the rate of one (1) year of experience for each thirty (30) semester hours of education.
  • Note: A valid driver's license may be required.
